In addition to his international touring schedule, Kris works as a freelance composer, trumpeter, and educator. As a composer Kris’s work includes winning the 8th Annual Great American Song Contest (instrumental), writing and composing a 60-minute jazz oratorio for his Master’s Thesis at Michigan State University, receiving a commission from the Arts League of Michigan to compose a piece for Jazz Quartet with strings, and now has the honor to be the composer for the PuNanny Diaries.
